Job description
This is semi-skilled work involving the operation, monitoring, cleaning, and maintenance of wastewater biosolids processing equipment and facilities. The employee primarily works independently on the 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. shift, Monday through Friday, operating screw presses, maintaining biosolids processing equipment, and performing general building and grounds maintenance.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Wastewater Operator, Crew Leader, or Field Supervisor. Assignments are received through established procedures and work orders, with completed work reviewed periodically for quality and compliance with operating standards.
