Systems Engineer for new programs (EuroDrone, SIRTAP, PATMAR)

Job Description: The selected candidate will join the Health Management and Predictive Analytics team and will contribute to the development of Health and Usage Management Systems (HUMS) in several platforms (A400M, PATMAR, SIRTAP, Euro. Drone, Hurjet, etc.) HUMS is a critical system that monitors aircraft or equipment health and usage, enabling early fault detection, predictive maintenance, and enhanced safety and reliability .

Key benefits include predictive maintenance, operational safety, reliability & efficiency, and data-driven insights to support engineering decisions and improve fleet management .

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead systems engineering activities to specify, develop, integrate, qualify, and certify health management systems in accordance with Airbus Defence and Space standards . Define HUMS architecture, acting as an HW/SW designer analyst for the development of on-board centralized Big Data architectures . Identify development life cycle activities, gather customer requirements, and define checkpoints and reviews aligned with program phases .

Elaborate the product's detailed design and manage the integration of the Health Management System on the aircraft . Specify, require, and support Laboratory, Ground, and Flight tests needed for the development, certification, and qualification (V&V) of the systems . Lead data management activities for massive information, including gathering, manipulating, processing, and storing data .

Experience: Experience in on-board hardware and software equipment design life-cycle, supplier management, and development of on-boarded high-performance computers .

Soft skills: Good communication skills, assertiveness, and willingness to travel . Languages: Strong Spanish and English skills, both verbal and written . Technical knowledge: Excellent knowledge of development & integration activities (from requirements capture to V&V, safety, QA, configuration control, and procurement) and SW design & development .

Experience with systems engineering tools: DOORS, ICDMS, SNT, ABDs, and Eclipse . Valuable / Nice to have: Experience working in A400M, C-295, SiRTAP, or Euro. Drone programs .
