Archer Business Analyst – GRC, QA & Archer SaaS Role Description

• Support the delivery of enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions on the Archer SaaS platform.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable, compliant solutions aligned with risk and regulatory objectives.
• Support Quality Assurance (QA) activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops and interviews.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and process flows aligned with Archer capabilities.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver business solutions. Archer Configuration & Solution Support
• Support the design and configuration of Archer applications, including:
• Workflows
• Questionnaires
• Reporting
• Data models Quality Assurance
• Develop and execute test cases aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect tracking and resolution.
• Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to define test strategies, review test cases, and validate system functionality. Agile Delivery
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release support activities.
• Support Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies. Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain project documentation, including:
• Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
• Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)
• Data mappings
• User guides
• Test plans
• Test cases
• Test results
• Support reporting and dashboards for risk, audit, and regulatory stakeholders. Required Qualifications
• 3–7+ years of Business Analyst experience with Archer.
• Experience working with Archer Evolv.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Solid understanding of risk management, compliance, or audit processes.
• Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in QA activities, including test planning, test case development, and UAT support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Archer use cases, including:
• Operational Risk
• IT Risk
• Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
• Audit Management
• Familiarity with integrations using APIs, ETL, and data mapping.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including:
• SOX
• OSFI
• ISO 27001
• GDPR
• Relevant certifications such as:
• CBAP
• PMI-PBA
• Agile/Scrum Certification
• Archer Certification
