Job Description: Housekeeping Manager Location: Ramnagar, Uttarakhand Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹70,000 per month (Depending on Experience & Last Drawn Salary) Benefits: Food & Accommodation Provided Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping operations of a luxury resort in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in 5-star hotels or luxury resorts, with a strong focus on maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards, guest comfort, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will oversee all housekeeping functions, ensure impeccable presentation of guest rooms and public areas, and lead the housekeeping team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Operations Manage the overall housekeeping department, including guest rooms, villas, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. Ensure rooms and public spaces consistently meet luxury hospitality standards. Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, maintenance, and aesthetic presentation. Coordinate with the Front Office and Engineering departments to ensure seamless guest service.

Team Management Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff. Prepare staff schedules and duty rosters. Conduct regular training on SOPs, hygiene standards, and guest service. Monitor staff grooming, productivity, and performance. Inventory & Cost Control Manage housekeeping inventory, linen, uniforms, guest supplies, and cleaning equipment.

Monitor departmental expenses and ensure cost-effective resource utilization. Coordinate with vendors for housekeeping supplies and equipment. Guest Satisfaction Ensure timely room readiness and guest requests are handled efficiently. Address guest concerns related to housekeeping with professionalism and promptness. Maintain high guest satisfaction scores through consistent service excellence.

Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and environmental standards. Implement and monitor housekeeping SOPs and quality assurance measures. Coordinate deep cleaning schedules and preventive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management. Minimum 5–8 years of housekeeping experience in 5-star hotels or luxury resorts. Prior experience in luxury resort operations will be highly preferred. Proficiency in housekeeping management systems and MS Office. Desired Candidate Profile Excellent leadership and team management skills.
