Job description
Summary: The Purchase Support role is a critical function within the procurement team, ensuring the seamless flow of materials and services by supporting end-to-end procurement processes. This position plays a key role in maintaining supply chain efficiency by coordinating with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and providing accurate data for planning and decision-making.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to cost control, timely deliveries, and compliance with internal policies.
Responsibilities
Assist in creating and submitting purchase requisitions and tracking purchase order status with suppliers. Serve as a point of contact for vendors, coordinating on pricing, product availability, and delivery schedules. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and contributing to demand forecasting and material planning.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation, including purchase orders, supplier contracts, and transaction records. Compile procurement reports, perform cost comparisons, and track spending to support financial and operational analysis. Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, approval workflows, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across warehouse, finance, and operations teams to facilitate timely material delivery.
