Job description
Primary Purpose of the Job Ensures LNG shipping operations are conducted in strict accordance with international maritime standards, and environmental regulations, particularly under International Maritime Organization (IMO) and EU regulatory bodies. Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Shipping operations preferably in the LNG business.
- Comprehensive understanding of LNG ship design, including Cargo containment systems, propulsion technologies & gas burning capabilities, BOG reliquefaction systems, and other emerging technologies in design and construction of LNG ships and the regulatory framework that covers them.
- Good understanding of the global Shipping Regulatory landscape and industry standards related to LNG Shipping and a good understanding of various consultative members’ role within such organizations. Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Marine, Engineering or similar OR Class 1 Marine Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner/Chief Engineer).
