Job Description: Application Maintenance Specialist/Engineer

Unix based applications Primary -Unix Shell Scripting and Development of shell scripts. Working on all the environment for installation of vendor package . L2 L3 support. SQL, MQ Experience Required: 8-10 Toronto
Hybrid (4 Days WFO) Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and support applications using Unix/Linux scripting.
Work on database development and integration using Oracle.
Design and support messaging solutions using MQ.
Ensure secure application communication leveraging TLS, SSL, HTTPS, and firewall configurations.
Adhere to strong SDLC practices across development, testing, deployment, and support phases.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Support CI/CD and DevOps practices to enable efficient delivery.
Utilize enterprise collaboration and ITSM tools such as Confluence, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
Provide support and exposure to middleware platforms such as WebSphere.
Gain exposure to mainframe environments as required.
Contribute to sanctions and compliance-related systems, with exposure to SWIFT and financial sanctions platforms.
Support or integrate cloud-based technologies where applicable.
Exposure to FircoSoft or similar sanctions screening products is an advantage.
