About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Team Member, Strategic Advisory at RHB Investment Banking. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a wide range of strategic transactions and advisory services. You will collaborate closely with senior bankers and cross-functional teams, assisting with financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and the preparation of high-impact client presentations and transaction documentation.
What you will be doing Transaction Execution & Management : Execute M&A transactions, including due diligence, valuation, financial modeling, structuring, and deal documentation, ensuring deals are completed efficiently within agreed timelines Strategic & Analytical Support: Conduct comprehensive market, industry, and company research to identify and evaluate target opportunities.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Head, Strategic Advisory regarding acquisitions, investments, and partnerships, while assisting in post-deal reporting and performance tracking Presentation & Documentation : Prepare high-quality presentation decks, including pitch books, information memoranda, and strategic proposals Governance & Risk Oversight : Ensure strict adherence to internal governance standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management frameworks.
Proactively identify transaction risks and propose practical mitigation strategies People Collaboration : Partner closely with teams across Group Wholesale Banking to identify cross-selling opportunities and win new mandates What we're looking for Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in Investment Banking, corporate finance, or related advisory fields Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities Good planning, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines Driven, passionate, and committed to professional excellence Strong interest in the activities and development of the capital markets, especially in Malaysia Solid knowledge of capital market rules, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards What we offer At RHB Banking Group, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that empowers our employees to reach their full potential.
