Job description
Accountable for the integration, direction, education, staffing and quality of nursing care provided in the Operating Room. This position collaborates with all Surgical Center departments, the Medical Staff and Administrative Staff to resolve issues. Recommends equipment and supplies for purchase in collaboration with Materials Management.
Coordinates all support functions necessary for patient care. Collaborates with scheduling to ensure adequate staffing. Supervises all Operating Room Complex staff. Assumes responsibility for all daily operations in the absence of the Director of Nursing. Musthave at least 3 years hands on Operating Room RN experience.
