Hiring: Network Engineer | Bangalore (Whitefield) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to manage and optimize the organization’s network infrastructure. The role requires hands-on experience in LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and network security to ensure high availability and performance of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage LAN/WAN, WLAN, VPN, internet connectivity, routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance, uptime, and security. Troubleshoot network, DNS, DHCP, routing, and connectivity issues. Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for network support and incidents. Maintain network documentation, IP inventory, and topology diagrams.
Support infrastructure upgrades, backup connectivity, and disaster recovery. Monitor network utilization and generate performance reports. Desired Skills Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing & Switching. Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Sophos, MikroTik, Aruba, or similar technologies. Knowledge of Firewall, VPN, NAT, ACL, and network security concepts.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix, or Nagios. Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, virtualization, or cloud networking is a plus. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, or related field. CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Sophos, or equivalent certifications preferred. Experience 5+ years of experience in Network Administration, Infrastructure, or Network Support. Healthcare IT, PACS, RIS, DICOM networking, or Hospital IT Infrastructure experience is an added advantage.
