Job description

Mainframe Developer – COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS & Mainframe Modernization Skills Required:

  • Tech Stack: IBM Mainframe, JCL, COBOL, SQL, DB2, Deep IMS knowledge, Endevor, File-AID, CA-7.
  • Tools: INSYNC, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow.
  • AI Awareness: Should be AI aware with experience using GitHub Copilot and VSCode.
  • Designer Skills:
  • Ability to independently analyze IMS Segments.
  • Create detailed designs.
  • Lead junior developers.
  • Participate in end-to-end field mapping.
  • Develop, unit test, and deploy code.
  • DB2:
  • Strong understanding of DB2 objects and processing.
  • Ability to independently analyze DB2 objects.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and learn in an environment with limited mainframe experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt and learn.
  • Nice to Have (Non-Mandatory):
  • Knowledge of Kafka and RESTful APIs.
