Job Title: Senior QA Engineer Department: Quality Assurance Location: NASTP, Karachi Shift: Morning Job Type: Full-time (On-site) We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead both manual and automated testing efforts. The ideal candidate will ensure software quality, drive testing best practices, and mentor junior QA engineers to maintain a high standard of product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases. Perform manual and automated testing using Selenium and Playwright or Cypress. Identify, document, and track software defects. Collaborate closely with development and product teams to resolve issues. Lead QA initiatives, process improvements, and team mentoring.
Maintain testing documentation and ensure adherence to QA standards. Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) testing pipelines.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in quality assurance (manual & automation). Technical Skills: Selenium, Playwright or Cypress, QA methodologies, SDLC, CI/CD tools. Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
