Cell & Process Engineering Intern

Requirements

Essential Duties Being a part of Cell and Process Engineering (CPE) team. The CPE team is responsible for supporting battery production to ensure our world-class production is running smoothly and without issue. In addition, we continually seek to improve our process by means of productivity, quality, cost, and other metrics.

Devising battery cell manufacturing process improvement for mass production lines leading to increased production and better quality Defining and changing cell specifications Introducing new materials and cell technologies into mass production Conducting development work for new and existing production lines to improve cell process on safety, quality and productivity.

Working closely with other team members to increase understanding of failure modes, performance and life expectancy of cell products. Demonstrating solid troubleshooting skills and ability to solve unknown problems. Analyzing operating procedures and functions of equipment and machinery to reduce time and cost of assembly manufacturing processes.

Internship Details The program will be a full time paid summer internship Must be able to attend the entirety of the internship Applications will be accepted until Monday, March13, 2026 Program Requirements Must attend entirety of internship from the indicated start and end date noted above Minimum 3.

2 GPA Must have completed a minimum of 2 years at an accredited university Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, O-1, TN, L-1, or other employment-based visas) following graduation.

This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.
