Job Description: SME Science (Only Male Candidates) Role Summary The SME Science is responsible for developing, reviewing, and delivering high-quality science content while supporting academic excellence across schools. This role involves extensive collaboration with educators and on-site academic support. The position requires approximately 60% travel to various school locations for training, implementation, and academic monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Development Create and review science content (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science) Develop worksheets, lesson plans, and question banks aligned with curriculum standards (CBSE, ICSE, IB, etc.) Ensure conceptual clarity and age-appropriate explanations
- Academic Support & Training Conduct training sessions and workshops for teachers Provide on-site academic support to ensure effective curriculum delivery. Assist in implementing best teaching practices in classrooms
- School Visits (60% Travel) Visit partner schools regularly for academic audits and support Observe classroom teaching and provide constructive feedback Ensure consistency in curriculum delivery across locations
- Quality Assurance Review and validate academic content for accuracy and relevance Identify gaps and continuously improve learning materials
- Assessment Design Design tests, quizzes, and assignments Prepare answer keys and evaluation guidelines Analyse student performance data to enhance learning outcomes
- Research & Innovation Stay updated with advancements in science education Integrate innovative teaching methods, experiments, and digital tools 7.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (B.Sc./M.Sc., B.Ed. preferred) Strong understanding of core science concepts across grade levels 8. Key Skills Excellent subject knowledge Strong communication and presentation skills Training and mentoring ability Analytical and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel extensively (60%) Note: Only male candidates are preferred for this role.
