Whate's The Role The Director, B2B

  • Liberty Business, Trinidad provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to the organization’s B2B function to ensure strong commercial results, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth. The role is accountable for overall B2B sales performance, strategic direction, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration for aligning sales objectives with the company’s business strategy.

What You'll Do

Aligns the sales organization’s objectives with the company’s business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting. Accountable for effective sales organization design, including sales job roles, sales channel design, and sales resource deployment.

Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives. Leads learning and development initiatives impacting the sales organization and provides stewardship of sales and sales management talent. Establishes and governs the sales organization’s performance management system Establishes guiding sales organizational principles for managing performance, establishing and prioritizing critical performance measures for all sales jobs; oversees the equitable allocation of organization objectives across all sales channels, and personnel; and ensures all key sales and sales management associates are held accountable for assigned results Provides leadership to the B2B management team, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.

Accountable for the sales organization support budget. Proactively assesses existing sales organizations support investments, including those in technology, training, and administrative support. Ensures support investments yield productivity benefits consistent with established objectives. Provides managerial leadership to the B2B function in meeting this responsibility and works closely with the Director Technology to ensure technology initiatives are implemented consistent with firm technology strategy.

Leads sales organization change initiatives by continuously assessing the need for organizational change, championing change initiatives, and removing obstacles impeding constructive organizational change. Establishes and maintains productive peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects. Achieves assigned organizational objectives for sales, profits, volume, product mix, and other strategic goals.

Supports the achievement of strategic objectives critical to other functional areas within the company Leads negotiations, with the aid of counsel, contracts and related terms and conditions with customers and strategic partners in relation to the provision of the portfolio of business services Develops the Company’s annual business plans as it pertains to one-year and five-year revenue projections Develop strong relationships with key decision makers of existing and prospective business clientele in order to identify and establish continued business opportunities.

What You'll Need

Knowledge & Experience Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering Minimum 10 years of sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment. Proven experience leading teams in the delivery of large multivendor projects. Advanced level technical knowledge of Cloud Unified Communications, Cloud IT Security, Cloud IP Surveillance, Cloud Business Continuity, and Managed Networking solutions.

A strong working knowledge of telecommunications technologies and protocols desirable Skills & Abilities Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve targets. Ability to create and deliver effective presentations. Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills in building client relationships, proposals and deliverables.
