Registered Nurse (RN) – Private Duty Nursing | Pediatric | Miami 33130 | Night 7 PM - 7 AM

Location: Miami, FL 33130 Position Type: Private Duty Nursing / Field-Based Schedule: PM Night Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Pay Rate: $35–$38 per hour, depending on experience About Matrix Home Care: Matrix Home Care is hiring a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Private Duty Nursing case in the Miami, FL 33130 area.

We are looking for a nurse who is dependable, professional, and comfortable providing one-on-one skilled care in the home setting.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse will provide private duty nursing care during overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The ideal candidate must have at least one year of pediatric nursing experience and be comfortable working independently in the home environment. G-tube and oxygen monitoring experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the patient’s home Monitor patient condition and report any changes as needed Administer medications and treatments as ordered Provide pediatric nursing care in accordance with the plan of care Assist with G-tube care and oxygen monitoring, as applicable Maintain accurate documentation Communicate professionally with the family, clinical team, and office staff Follow all company policies, procedures, and patient safety standards Requirements Active Florida RN license Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience required G-tube and oxygen monitoring experience preferred Private duty nursing or home care experience preferred Must be comfortable working 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts Current CPR/BLS certification Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently Must meet AHCA Level 2 background screening requirements Background Screening Requirement: Under Florida law, this role is subject to background screening per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, including fingerprinting and review for eligibility before employment.
