Visiting Security Officer

The Visiting Security Officer is responsible for conducting regular inspections and monitoring security operations across all assigned Royal Institute branches. The role ensures that security personnel consistently comply with institutional policies, operational procedures, and professional standards while maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, visitors, and school property.

The Visiting Security Officer also provides guidance, coaching, and recommendations to enhance security effectiveness across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

Visit assigned locations according to approved schedules and operational requirements. Conduct inspections of security operations, attendance, uniforms, and discipline. Monitor performance and provide guidance to deployed security staff. Prepare inspection reports and recommend corrective actions. Identify security risks and recommend preventive measures.

Ensure security standards are consistently maintained across all locations. Conduct security briefings and provide on-the-job training to security personnel.

Requirements

Certificate in Security Management, Public Administration, or a related field is preferred. Former military, police, or recognized security service experience will be an added advantage. Minimum of 3 years' experience in security operations. Experience in conducting security inspections, audits, or supervising multiple sites is preferred.

Experience in a school, educational institution, or large corporate environment will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of security operations and inspection procedures.
