Customer Service Billing Specialist I

The Customer Service Billing Specialist (CSBS) I is responsible for coordinating patient and insurance billing for Durable Medical Equipment (DME), orthotic, and prosthetic devices with a learned knowledge of payer rules, internal systems, and billing workflows. S/he is responsible for the onshore customer service calls. This role works under guidance of established procedures to meet accuracy, compliance, and productivity standards and provides courteous service to patients, business partners, and customers. S/he reviews all claims to ensure proper documentation, prior authorization, and patient eligibility are met to achieve successful payment of claims.
