Posting Title: Driver (Other District Travel) Industry: Retail & Wholesale Salary: Rs.10 K+ Work Experience: 1-3 years --- Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Driver to support our Retail & Wholesale operations by ensuring the timely, secure, and efficient transportation of goods across multiple districts.

This role is critical to maintaining supply chain integrity, meeting delivery timelines, and upholding our company’s reputation for dependability. The ideal candidate will possess strong long-distance driving experience, a deep understanding of traffic laws, and the ability to navigate diverse road conditions—especially during night hours and adverse weather.

With a keen eye for vehicle maintenance and route optimization using GPS technology, the Driver will play a pivotal role in supporting our distribution network, ensuring products reach customers and retail partners on time and in pristine condition. This position offers a dynamic environment for professional growth within a fast-paced logistics and distribution ecosystem.

--- Responsibilities: Safely operate delivery vehicles for the transportation of wholesale goods across multiple districts. Plan and execute efficient delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to minimize travel time and fuel consumption. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies always.

Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and compliance with safety standards. Manage and secure cargo during transit, ensuring proper loading, unloading, and documentation. Handle deliveries in challenging conditions, including night driving and adverse weather, with a focus on safety and punctuality.

Communicate proactively with dispatch and logistics teams regarding delivery status, delays, or vehicle issues. Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance. Respond promptly to unexpected changes in schedules or routes while maintaining professionalism and efficiency. --- Requirements Requirements: 1–3 years of proven experience in long-distance driving, preferably within logistics, wholesale distribution, or retail supply chain operations.

Valid and clean driving license with experience in operating commercial vehicles. Demonstrated knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and defensive driving techniques. Proficiency in using GPS and route planning tools for efficient navigation. Experience in night driving and operating vehicles under adverse weather (rain, fog, snow, etc.)

Strong understanding of vehicle operation, control, and basic maintenance procedures. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accountability. Physical ability to lift and move goods (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods during loading/unloading. Excellent time management and organizational skills with a commitment to on-time delivery.

Willingness to travel frequently to other districts and work flexible hours as required.
