504 Coordinator - Alabama Connections Academy

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a 504 coordinator at Alabama Connections Academy. From our office in Athens or from your home office within the state, the 504 coordinator works collaboratively with teachers and counselors, to administer, monitor, and implement 504 plans.

The 504 coordinator serves as the liaison between counselors, teachers, and families, and facilitates meetings with all required stakeholders. The 504 Coordinator is responsible for training staff in the requirements of Section 504 of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the preparation of compliance documents for students eligible for Section 504 Services.

The 504 Coordinator ensures district compliance with all state, federal, and district 504 requirements.
