Job description

Our client, one of Malta's leading companies, is looking to recruit an IT Support Coordinator to join their growing IT team. The IT Support Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the organisation's IT operations by delivering technical assistance to users, maintaining hardware and software, coordinating IT service requests, and assisting with infrastructure maintenance.

Working closely with internal teams and external service providers, the role ensures business continuity while maintaining high standards of IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, networks, and business applications. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment and systems. Manage user accounts, access permissions, and Microsoft 365 environments. Monitor and maintain network connectivity, system performance, and cybersecurity standards.

Coordinate IT support requests and liaise with external vendors when required. Support IT projects, system upgrades, and business continuity initiatives. Deliver excellent customer service while assisting employees with day-to-day technical issues.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related field. Minimum 2 years' experience in an IT Support, Helpdesk, or similar role. Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals. Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service abilities. Relevant IT certifications (e.g. Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco) and a valid driving licence will be considered an advantage. Licenses & Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification. Microsoft certifications (e.

g. Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows) will be considered an asset. Networking certifications (CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent) are advantageous. A valid Category B driving licence is considered an advantage.
