COSCO SHIPPING Lines (North America) is seeking a Land Operations Generalist to join their Commercial department in Secaucus, NJ. Specific roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide analytical and administrative support to the Commercial Department Provide analytical and administrative support to the Commercial Department Catalogue and store relevant documents in an appropriate SharePoint library Catalogue and store relevant documents in an appropriate SharePoint library Learn and Familiarize yourself with the IRIS-4 system Learn and Familiarize yourself with the IRIS-4 system Produce monthly vendor volume and cost reports Produce monthly vendor volume and cost reports Ad hoc data analytics for various operational and cost inquiries Ad hoc data analytics for various operational and cost inquiries Communicate and collaborate with various colleagues and departments to ensure all needs are met and administration is completed Communicate and collaborate with various colleagues and departments to ensure all needs are met and administration is completed Collaborate with vendors and RTT team as issues arise Collaborate with vendors and RTT team as issues arise Occasionally report on rates from the various chassis providers to ATD to ensure competitive pricing Occasionally report on rates from the various chassis providers to ATD to ensure competitive pricing Learn about complete functions of CCD department and be ready to support where applicable Learn about complete functions of CCD department and be ready to support where applicable Develop an understanding of the trucking and rail markets and understand related contracts Develop an understanding of the trucking and rail markets and understand related contracts
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree 1 – 3 years of relevant experience
