Oracle Financials Functional Test Lead

Specialized Fusion Testing

• Test end-to-end business processes within and across Oracle Fusion Modules (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Hire-to-Retire), FAH, EPM (Planning-Financials, Workforce, Projects), Project Management
• Validate reports and analytics built using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
• Test inbound and outbound integrations with other systems (e.g., EDI, SOAP/REST APIs, PLSQL) Test Planning & Strategy
• Analyze business requirements, functional design documents, and user stories to understand testing scope
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Define test data requirements and work with the team to have it prepared
• Estimate testing effort and contribute to project timelines Test Execution & Defect Management
• Identify, record, document, and track defects meticulously using tools like JIRA, ALM, or OTBI
• Work with developers and functional consultants to isolate, replicate, and resolve defects
• Perform regression testing to ensure new configurations, patches, or integrations do not adversely affect existing functionality Process & Collaboration
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Business, Functional, Technical) to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Support business users during UAT, helping them understand test cases and log issues
• Create and maintain test documentation for knowledge sharing and audit purposes
• Provide clear and concise test summary reports and status updates to stakeholders Essential Skills:
• More than 5 yrs exp. of Financials (FSCM): General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, Expenses, FAH, Project Management, EPM, Procurement Hands-on experience on the following is required:
• Financials (FSCM)
• General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, Expenses, FAH, Project Management
• EPM Planning (Financials, Workforce, Projects), FCCS
• Procurement Purchasing
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and plans
• Solid knowledge of SQL for data validation and querying
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, Zephyr)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in:
