IT System Support Executive (recruiting from Malta only)

Our client, a respected organization in Malta, is currently seeking a IT System Support Executive to join their team. Recruiting applicants already residing in Malta.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-line IT support across hardware, software, networks, and systems via alerts or user requests (phone, email, in person). Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical incidents when required. Install, configure, update, and maintain software, operating systems, and hardware components. Administer Windows environments and perform system troubleshooting and configuration.

Manage Active Directory (user accounts, permissions, group policies, password resets, provisioning/deprovisioning). Support networking infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, wireless) and connectivity issues. Monitor systems and applications, performing routine maintenance for optimal performance.

Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors on technical issues. Provide user training and IT support. Manage IT assets (hardware, software licenses, peripherals). Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents. Perform other IT-related duties as required.

Requirements

Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. 1+ year experience in enterprise IT support. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and troubleshooting. Experience with hardware support and software installation/configuration. Strong Active Directory administration skills (users, permissions, GPOs, access control).

Basic MSSQL knowledge (asset). ITIL or ITSM knowledge preferred. CompTIA A+, MCITP or similar certifications (asset). Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills. Category B driving license.
