JOB TITLE: Staff Nurse RN (Preop/Recovery)
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Assists in provision of nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician's orders and centers policies. Ideal candidate will have experience with preparing patients for surgery, recovery of surgical patients from anesthesia, and conducting preoperative and follow-up phone calls to patients. Self-motivated nurse willing to cross-train to pre-admission testing nurse team. Prior Operating Room Circulating RN experience is a plus.
Minimum one year in pre-operative, intra-operative and/or post-operative surgical patient care. Strong Med/Surg and/or ED/ICU background.
