Job description

Amazon Lab126 is an inventive research and development company that designs and engineers high-profile consumer electronics. As a Wireless Systems Engineer, you will innovate, design and build best in class connectivity solutions. You will work on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth BR/EDR, BLE and 802.15.4 based technologies such as Zig.

Bee and Thread. You will work closely with the hardware, software, operations, quality assurance teams and silicon partners to make our products a reality. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field - 3+ years of experience in RF/Wireless systems engineering
  • Deep expertise in wireless technologies (Wi. Fi 6/6E/7, Bluetooth, cellular)
  • Strong experience with RF test equipment and validation methodologies
  • Experience in custom silicon development and chipset architecture
  • Proven track record in wireless coexistence solutions and power optimization
  • Experience with simulation tools and predictive modeling for wireless systems
  • Master's degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in wireless system design and architecture, system integration, and RF system analysis
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, processes, technologies and key suppliers
  • Knowledge of R, MATLAB, Python or similar scripting language
  • Experience working closely with physical design teams to develop highly optimized ASICs with excellent power, performance and area
