We are currently supporting a leading UAE government entity in the search for an experienced Economic Advisor. Role Overview The Economic Advisor will provide high-level economic analysis and policy advisory support to senior leadership and diplomatic teams. The role focuses on analyzing international economic developments, preparing policy recommendations, and supporting the UAE's economic positioning in bilateral and multilateral engagements.

The advisor will contribute to shaping economic policy perspectives, international economic cooperation strategies, and briefing materials used by senior officials and diplomats. This position requires a professional with strong analytical capability, policy advisory experience, and a deep understanding of international economic dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct economic research and analytical studies on global and regional economic developments. Prepare and support economic research papers and policy briefs used by senior government decision-makers. Review and contribute to bilateral country economic reports to support diplomatic engagement. Assist in drafting and shaping national economic policy positions related to trade, investment, and economic cooperation.

Support the development of economic strategies and policy recommendations related to foreign direct investment (FDI), trade policy, and international economic relations. Contribute to the UAE’s participation in multilateral economic discussions and forums. Support diplomats by reviewing and preparing economic briefing materials and country economic profiles.

Assist in the development of capacity-building initiatives for staff within the Economic and Trade functions. Provide analytical insights and advisory support on global economic trends and their implications for national policy.
