Position: Tour Consultant Location: Kochi / Thrissur Industry: Tours & Travel Experience: 3–5 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Qualification: Any Graduate (Travel & Tourism background preferred) Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Tour Consultant to assist clients with travel planning, visa processing, tour packages, and travel-related services.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of visa procedures, travel documentation, customer service, and itinerary planning.
Key Responsibilities
Visa Processing Handle visa applications and documentation for various countries. Verify and process visa forms and supporting documents. Coordinate with embassies, consulates, and visa centers. Schedule visa appointments and track application status. Guide clients on passport validity, travel insurance, and visa requirements.
Ensure compliance with immigration and travel regulations. Travel Consultation Assist customers with tour packages, flight bookings, hotel reservations, and travel itineraries. Provide travel advice and destination information. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person. Resolve customer concerns and provide end-to-end travel support.
Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction. Operations & Coordination Maintain accurate client records and travel documentation. Coordinate with internal teams and travel partners. Stay updated on visa policies, travel regulations, and industry trends. Ensure timely processing of applications and bookings.
Required Skills
Experience in visa processing and travel consultation. Good knowledge of international travel documentation and visa requirements. Strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of CRM and Travel ERP systems. Familiarity with GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre. Experience in travel agencies, tour operators, or tourism companies.
