Operational Control Specialist (Treasury Back Office)

Job Description Performing Payment & Settlement Business through SWIFT and EFT System, and mainly being in charge of Treasury Back Office & Middle Office function. The middle office function is mainly to control the risk of treasury transaction, such as Money Market, FX Spot and Derivatives (Forward, Swaps), Bond investment.

Being responsible for Sanction Compliance and Anti-money Laundering during transaction control, such as the embargo checking; FATF; MASAK control of the transactions that are sent and received from EFT and SWIFT channels. Informing Internal Control and Compliance Team where any incident or suspicious transaction occurs.

Providing information on operational risk incidents and operational losses, and escalating issues to Operational Control Manager and Head of Financial & Operational Control Department where required. Preparing periodic reports to Senior Management and Regulatory related to Middle office and Back office. Assisting Operational Control Manager to manage and controlling Bank’s liquidity.

Checking and monitoring FX and TRY currency Nostro management and Nostro accounts’ control on daily basis. Assisting Operational Control Manager to manage local clearing EFT system and SWIFT system, report and perform system tests where required. Acting as the backup of Operational Control Manager if necessary. Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor’ degree in Finance or related fields 2- 5 years of experience in the middle and back office (SWIFT and EFT settlement) departments of the Banks Preferably having Capital Markets of Board License (SPK Lisans Temel Düzey) Preferably having knowledge about treasury products, such as Money Market, FX Spot and Derivatives (Forward, Swaps), Bond investment Solid understanding of banking practice and regulations Having a high sense of responsibility, being eager to learn new things and being an effective team member Ability to work under specific deadlines and deliver the tasks within limited timescale Advanced level of spoken and written English Good knowledge of MS Office applications No military service obligation for male candidates
