Senior Engineer - Operational Procurement
Job description
Roles And Responsibility: •Manage end-to-end operational procurement activities as an individual contributor Handle post-ordering delivery management, ensuring timely receipt of materials, components, and services.
- Responsible for material planning and scheduling to support production and project requirements. Ensure on-time delivery performance for domestic and/or import procurement.
- Coordinate closely with suppliers for order execution, delivery schedules, documentation, and issue resolution.
- Perform AP booking and support finance for timely payment processing Handle supplier rejections, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with procurement process workflows, purchasing policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to company ethics and integrity guidelines.
- Manage inventory in line with defined rules, norms, and controls Track and achieve assigned KPIs.
- Perform supplier account reconciliation, including free-issue material reconciliation Support recovery of COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality).
- Handle settlement of claims and disputes with suppliers.
- Align activities with strategic direction set by senior management for near-term goals Identify, assess, and manage complex issues and risks, with timely escalation and disclosure.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports in various required formats.
