Responsibilities
And Attributions Responsabilidades e atribuições Job Title: Geotechnical Team Lead (Metro Station and Tunnel) Job Description Main Objective: This position is to coordinate, supervise and develop the geotechnical design works of stations and tunnels in of Sao Paulo. Functions: As a Geotechnical Design Lead, the candidate is meant to lead the end-to-end design delivery to meet program and contractual milestones,design coordination across other packages and interfaces.
Geotechnical design quality, review and verification management must be ensured; Coordinate with employer (construction teams – CJV), third parties (Geo-investigation team mainly) and contractors, to precisely understand needs and ensure alignment and interfacing; Geotechnical Design Team Building (interviews / staff hiring advisor / staffing / workload /performance) and support on project opportunity seeking.
Reach out to local engineering resources; Supervision: The position reports to and works under supervision of the Design Manager, and the Project Manager and Design Manager (CJV). Workplace: Vila Olimpia, Sao Paulo-SP Requisites And Qualifications Requisitos e qualificações / Requirements: Master degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related area; Over 10 years of geotechnical design, metro station design work experience prefered; Participate in over two (2) metro related design or construction project as a designer, in Sao Paulo preferred; Be familiar with local design approaches and standards, and construction procedures for infrastructure project Be fluent in both Portuguese and English Acknowledge of main design software / BIM tools.
