E-Boda Rider (Ride-Hailing & Delivery Services) – Nairobi Location: Nairobi Job Type: Full Time Industry: Transport & Logistics Application Deadline: Open Until Filled Job Summary We are seeking disciplined, customer-focused, and safety-conscious E-Boda Riders to operate electric motorcycles within Nairobi and its environs.

Successful candidates will provide ride-hailing, food delivery, parcel delivery, and courier services through approved mobile applications while maintaining high standards of customer service and road safety. Successful candidates will be entrusted with transporting passengers and handling customer deliveries and must therefore demonstrate high levels of integrity, professionalism, and responsibility.

A valid Certificate of Good Conduct is mandatory for this position. The ideal candidate should be responsible, reliable, and comfortable using smartphone-based transport and delivery platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate an electric motorcycle to transport passengers and deliver food, parcels, and other customer orders. Use ride-hailing and delivery applications to accept and complete trips efficiently. Ensure timely pickup and delivery of customers and orders. Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times.

Follow assigned schedules and meet daily operational targets. Conduct daily motorcycle inspections, including battery charge, brakes, tires, lights, and general condition. Keep the motorcycle clean and presentable. Report accidents, incidents, mechanical issues, or safety concerns promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate records of trips, earnings, and operational activities as required. Ensure proper handling and security of customer property and deliveries.

Requirements

Valid Kenyan Motorcycle Riding Licence (Class A/A2 or equivalent). Valid Certificate of Good Conduct (Police Clearance Certificate). Minimum KCSE certificate. Ability to ride confidently within Nairobi and surrounding areas. Good knowledge of Nairobi roads, estates, and traffic patterns. Ability to use Android smartphones and mobile applications.

Good communication skills in English and Swahili. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Honest, reliable, and self-motivated. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required. Previous experience in ride-hailing, courier, food delivery, passenger transport, or logistics services will be an added advantage.
