We are looking for an Automation Tool Engineer to design and develop internal software tools, automation frameworks, and data platforms supporting automotive manufacturing and service operations. This role focuses on building scalable Python-based systems, integrating factory and test environments, and applying automation and AI technologies to improve production efficiency, quality monitoring, and engineering workflows.

Develop and maintain automation tools and internal software systems for manufacturing and service engineering. Build Python-based frameworks for data processing, workflow automation, and test support systems. Design and implement backend services, APIs, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL). Develop dashboards and automated reporting tools for production quality and operational monitoring.

Integrate systems with industrial equipment and test environments via CAN, OBD, Serial/UART, or related protocols. Support CI/CD pipelines and automation infrastructure using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI. Apply AI/ML or LLM-based solutions to improve defect analysis, prediction, and process optimization. Collaborate with QA, manufacturing, and engineering teams to optimize cross-functional workflows and reduce cycle time.

Manage source code, documentation, and continuously improve system scalability and performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields. Minimum 1 year of experience in software development, automation tool development, or system integration. Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory). Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, and Git version control.

Familiarity with automation frameworks such as pytest, Robot Framework, or equivalent tools. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) is an advantage. Understanding of industrial or automotive communication protocols (CAN, OBD, Serial/UART) is a plus. Exposure to manufacturing systems (MES), factory automation, or automotive service systems is preferred.

Interest or experience in AI/ML or LLM-based applications is highly desirable.
