Job description
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy for the manufacturing plant.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for production roles.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and identifies training needs.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Ensure compliance with all national and local labor laws and regulations, staying updated on changes.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as an HR Manager, specifically within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and industrial relations.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of HR systems and databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree in HR or a relevant certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and Bengali (written and spoken) is essential.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment.
