TPF Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well established and highly regarded independent Chartered Accountancy practice in Northfleet with the recruitment of a Senior Practice Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and professional firm where you'll work closely with the Partner, taking responsibility for a varied portfolio of owner managed businesses and becoming a key member of the team.
The Role As a Senior Practice Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a broad range of general practice work, including: Preparation of statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients Corporation tax and self assessment tax returns Bookkeeping and VAT returns Liaising directly with clients and providing day to day advice Supporting the Partner with client relationships and ad hoc projects Reviewing work where appropriate and assisting with workflow management This is a varied, hands on role offering plenty of client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with the firm's leadership.
Meeting with clients on a regular basis Requirements ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice Strong knowledge of statutory accounts preparation, tax, bookkeeping and VAT Excellent communication and client relationship skills Able to work independently while contributing positively to a close knit team Benefits Salary of £40,000 to £50,000, depending on experience A supportive and friendly working environment Direct exposure to the Partner and varied client work Long term career progression within an established Chartered Accountancy practice Competitive benefits package If you're looking to join a respected independent practice where you can broaden your experience, build strong client relationships and play an important role in the firm's continued success, we'd love to hear from you.
