SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER

  • STELLENBOSCH An established and growing organisation is seeking a commercially minded Senior Finance Manager to play a key role in driving financial performance across a multi-site portfolio. This position combines strategic finance, commercial analysis and operational oversight, partnering closely with senior leadership to improve business performance, support investment decisions and identify opportunities for sustainable growth. The successful candidate will translate financial and operational information into meaningful commercial insights, helping guide strategic decision-making while ensuring strong financial governance across the business. Job Description Provide commercial financial analysis to support business performance and strategic decision-making. Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes. Monitor financial performance against budgets and identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities. Prepare cash flow forecasts, financial models and management reports. Evaluate business cases, capital investment opportunities and return-on-investment initiatives. Support long-term strategic planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis. Develop executive-level reporting and performance dashboards. Partner with operational teams to improve profitability and financial performance. Review cost structures and recommend operational efficiencies. Contribute to governance, compliance and consistent financial reporting standards. Collaborate with senior stakeholders on business growth, performance improvement and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Requirements Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline. Professional finance qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA or similar. Extensive experience in commercial finance, financial planning, business analysis or asset-intensive industries. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and strategic planning.

Previous experience in a senior finance leadership role. Strong commercial acumen with advanced analytical and financial modelling skills. Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder management abilities. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
