JOB SUMMARY

The Program Coordinator supports programs and projects within ClemsonLIFE. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and programmatic support for the entire program. Performs other duties as assigned. JOB DUTIES: 10%

  • Event Management: Plans, organizes and coordinates special projects and events. Serves as the event planner for ClemsonLIFE events, including pre-orientation and orientation, move-in days, open houses, and graduation ceremonies. Follows up to ensure timely receipt of information, reports and actions requested during events. Coordinates other special events as needed and assigned.

  • Communication and Liaising: Acts as the administrative liaison between the program and internal/external stakeholders to include students, parents, teachers, prospective families, volunteers, and visitors. Liaises with other offices on campus regarding student accounts and registration (i.e., financial aid, student financial services, registrar's office, housing). Uses discernment to determine appropriate actions for all communication mediums.

  • Fiscal Support and Coordination: Coordinates financial activities for the ClemsonLIFE program. Monitors the program budget, specifically revenue and foundation accounts. Processes all Buy. Ways transactions, manages and pays invoices, provides oversight to student billing, and manages the program's procurement card, providing guidance to ensure compliance with state procurement policies. Communicates with the College's Business Office as needed regarding financial matters.

  • Administrative and Operational Coordination: Provides administrative support and management of the day-to-day operations of the ClemsonLIFE office. Manages the inventory of the program materials and promotional items. Maintains academic and behavior records for all students. Consults on administrative, financial and HR policies and procedures as applicable.

  • Project and Program Coordination: Coordinates the ClemsonLIFE Volunteer4LIFE Program, composed of more than 650+ Clemson University undergraduate and graduate students. Manages the program's online presence by creating, scheduling and optimizing content across platforms such as Instagram and Facebook, ensuring alignment with the University's marketing practices. Engages with the Mar. Com team as needed regarding the program's social media presence. Oversees the admissions process for incoming students to include processing applications, scheduling interviews, and liaising with external offices (i.e., financial aid, admissions, etc.). JOB CODE: AH35 EMPLOYEE TYPE: Time-Limited (TLP) Staff The Program Coordinator supports programs and projects within ClemsonLIFE. Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and programmatic support for the entire program. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience. Preferred Requirements: 3+ years of relevant program experience providing administrative and programmatic support and coordination.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES Fiscal Responsibilities: Fiscal responsibilities for the department's budget, including but not limited to, financial planning and managing fund allocation PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sit (stationary position) for prolonged period: 25% Stand for Prolonged Period: 25% Walk or move about: 25% Communicate, converse, give direction, express oneself: 25% WORKING CONDITIONS: None: % WORK SCHEDULE: Standard Hours: 37.5 COMPENSATION INFORMATION: Expected Salary Range $45,300.00 - $61,100.00 Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

  • Required to follow emergency facility closure and modified operations directives, and not normally expected to work on-site during emergency situations.
