Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned transmission EPC professional to lead end-to-end execution, billing efficiency, and project closure across multiple ongoing transmission line projects (₹50–100 Cr each). The role is critical in ensuring on-time execution, accelerated billing cycles, and timely payment realization, while managing multi-state project complexities and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution Leadership Lead execution of multiple transmission line projects (132kV–400kV+) across locations Oversee complete lifecycle: foundation, erection, and stringing activities Manage execution in live line / reconductoring environments with shutdown coordination Ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety compliance
- Billing & Cash Flow Management (Critical KPI) Drive RA billing end-to-end including measurement sheets, BOQ tracking, and documentation Ensure timely bill submission, certification, and payment follow-ups with clients Monitor and improve billing velocity and cash inflow across projects Resolve billing bottlenecks and approval delays proactively
- Commercial & Project Closure Manage variation orders, claims, and contractual deviations Lead final billing, reconciliation, and project closure activities Ensure closure documentation and financial settlement within defined timelines
- Multi-Site Project Control Handle 3–5+ concurrent project sites across different geographies Track project progress, risks, and resource deployment centrally Drive coordination between site teams, clients, and internal stakeholders
- Contractor & Site Management Manage multiple subcontractors (foundation, erection, stringing crews) Ensure contractor productivity, quality, and adherence to timelines Validate and align contractor billing vs client billing Resolve on-ground execution challenges including ROW and local issues
- Client & Stakeholder Management Work closely with central/state utilities and transmission agencies Lead client coordination for approvals, billing certification, and payments. Build strong relationships to ensure smoother execution and faster closures Requirements Must-Have Experience 15–20 years in Transmission Line EPC (132kV–400kV+) Execution & Field Expertise Strong experience in: Transmission line execution (foundation, erection, stringing) Reconductoring / working in live corridors Shutdown planning and coordination ROW (Right of Way) issue handling Commercial & Billing Expertise (Mandatory) Hands-on experience in: RA billing end-to-end Measurement sheets & BOQ tracking Client billing follow-ups and payment realization Claims, variation orders, and final billing Project Handling Capability Managed multiple concurrent sites (minimum 3–5) Exposure to multi-state project execution Worked with central and/or state utilities HTLS Exposure (Preferred) Experience with HTLS / ACCC / ACSS conductors preferred Strong EPC candidates without HTLS exposure will also be considered Key Success Metrics (KRAs) On-time project execution across sites Billing cycle time reduction Improvement in cash flow & payment realization Timely project closure and final settlements Contractor productivity and cost control
