Job Summary** The Relationship Officer
- LAP is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, facilitating the loan against property (LAP) process, and ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth. Job Responsibilities** * Identify, acquire, and onboard new customers for Loan Against Property (LAP) products. * Deepen relationships with existing customers by understanding their financial needs and offering suitable LAP solutions. * Explain LAP product features, benefits, and terms clearly and transparently to potential borrowers. * Assist clients throughout the loan application process, including documentation collection, form submission, and follow-up. * Conduct initial credit assessment and due diligence for LAP applications. * Liaise with internal credit and operations teams to ensure smooth and timely loan processing. * Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the LAP portfolio. * Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and sales reports. * Resolve customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally. * Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company policies. Job Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. * Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in sales or relationship management, preferably within the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on secured lending products like LAP. * Strong understanding of Loan Against Property products, processes, and relevant market dynamics. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with clients. * Results-oriented with a strong track record of achieving sales targets. * Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Knowledge of local market and regulatory requirements for secured lending is preferred.
