Overview
Following ALARA protocols, the radiological technician, performs routine and emergent radiographic imaging using ionizing radiation to produce quality x-ray and/or CT exams. (ALARA – The radiation dose should be As Low As Reasonably Achievable.) Assume responsibility for procedures performed and related duties as assigned. ✅ Qualifications Required: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program ARRT registry or registry eligible (must achieve within 6 months of hire) Understanding of basic anatomy Ability to lift, move, and transport patients Preferred: State licensure (required in Arkansas) Proficiency in radiographic equipment & processors 📚 Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Technical skill in radiologic procedures Understanding of basic anatomy Ability to: Manipulate x-ray equipment (including mobile units) Carry cassettes & select exposure factors Evaluate radiographs Lift, move & transport patients Stand & walk for extended periods Recognize emergencies & adapt to stress Communicate effectively Equipment Used: Radiographic equipment Radiographic processors Computers 💡 Ready to make an impact?
