Job description

We are seeking hard-working and reliable General Laborers with utility-scale solar project experience. This position involves hands-on tasks correcting pile and racking issues under the direction of the Mechanical Lead. Ideal candidates will have experience in solar or construction labor and be comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform physical remediation work on driven piles, including hammering, straightening, and alignment correction (no re-driving). Adjust and secure solar racking components to meet project specifications and tolerances. Use hand tools, impact drivers, torque wrenches, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with torque checks, bracing, and reinstallation of hardware or components as needed.

Follow instructions from the Mechanical Lead to ensure all work is completed accurately and on time. Adhere to all site safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with material handling as needed. Report any issues or safety concerns to the Lead promptly.

Qualifications

1+ year of experience in solar installation, construction, or general labor preferred. Familiarity with solar racking systems and pile installation a plus. Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team. Comfortable using hand and power tools safely. Reliable, punctual, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and manual labor throughout the workday. Ability to work outdoors for extended periods on uneven terrain.
