AML Business Systems Analyst (SQL) Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite) Duration: 12 Months Role Summary Seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong AML/Financial Crimes experience to support compliance and technology initiatives. The role focuses on translating AML business needs into system requirements and supporting AML platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and document AML requirements and regulatory needs. Translate business requirements into functional specifications for AML systems (transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, SAR/CTR). Perform SQL-based data analysis, validation, and reporting. Support AML workflow optimization and system improvements. Collaborate with Compliance, IT, and vendors on AML solutions.
Ensure alignment with AML/BSA regulations.
Required Skills
8+ years as a BSA 4+ years in AML / Financial Crimes domain Strong SQL and data analysis skills Knowledge of AML systems (transaction monitoring, screening tools) Experience with system integrations and APIs Strong communication and stakeholder management Preferred CAMS / CBAP certification Banking / Financial Services experience Must-Have AML domain expertise SQL Business Analysis (requirements & documentation)
