Principal Scientist, Hearing Loss and Vestibular Disorders

In this role, you will independently lead research projects and drive the development of novel therapies for inner ear disorders, while collaborating with a cross-functional team to advance translationally relevant studies.

When & where: Location: Tarrytown, NY Work model/flexibility: Onsite Discover your role: Lead the design of rigorous experiments to address core questions in hearing biology that drive drug discovery and preclinical programs Develop and characterize novel animal models to understand mechanisms of hearing loss and evaluate novel therapeutics Design and execute in vivo and in vitro functional assays to understand syndromic and non-syndromic hearing loss Work cross-functionally with a team to develop translationally relevant studies Analyze and evaluate data with rigor, presenting findings internally and externally Draft and review protocols and articles for publication independently Motivate, develop, and supervise junior scientists, research associates, and other trainees Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting readily to shifting priorities This role requires: Ph.
