Job Responsibilities
Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures at the worksite. Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Ensure all employees use the required personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for employees.
Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports. Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve workplace safety. Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and HSE documentation. Ensure compliance with company safety standards and Saudi regulations. Coordinate emergency response procedures and evacuation drills.
Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.
Requirements
Requirements Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer in construction, infrastructure, industrial, or oil & gas projects. Certification such as OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent HSE qualification is preferred.
Good knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigation. Strong communication, reporting, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.
