We are actively building our Wealth Management and Compliance technology portfolio, including ComplianceAssist — an AI-enabled compliance product initially designed for AMCs regulated by SEBI, with identified potential to extend to AIFs and PMS firms.

Role: Manual Tester – Functional & UI Testing Experience: 2–3 Years Location: Pune / Candidates who can visit the Pune office a few days each month or as required Work Hours: Willingness to work close to US business hours, when required Role Overview We are looking for a Manual Tester with 2–3 years of experience in functional and UI testing.

The candidate will be responsible for validating application functionality, user experience, and business requirements across web-based applications. The role may involve working directly with US-based clients and project stakeholders. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Review business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories. Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports. Perform functional, UI, usability, regression, integration, and system testing. Validate application behaviour across different browsers, devices, and screen resolutions.

Identify, document, track, and retest defects. Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other project stakeholders. Participate in requirement discussions, sprint planning, daily meetings, and defect triage sessions. Perform impact analysis and regression testing for application changes. Maintain test documentation and provide clear testing status updates.

Support client demonstrations and user acceptance testing, when required. Mandatory Skills 2–3 years of hands-on manual software testing experience. Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle. Experience in functional and UI testing of web applications. Ability to prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases.

Experience in defect reporting, tracking, retesting, and closure. Understanding of regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing. Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments. Familiarity with defect and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with US-based clients and stakeholders. Willingness to work close to US business hours, when required. Willingness to visit the Pune office a few days per month or on a need basis.

Requirements

Good-to-Have Skills Knowledge of PL/SQL and ability to perform basic database validation. Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger. Exposure to the insurance domain, preferably the US insurance industry. Previous experience working directly with US clients. Basic understanding of automation testing concepts.

Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
