Job description
We are the Apple Services Engineering Security team. We build secure systems and infrastructure that fuel Apple's services (such as i. Cloud, i. Tunes, Siri, App Store, and Maps). We are expanding our team and searching for a Security Architect who will connect the dots across our security systems, data platforms, risk models, and operational workflows into a coherent technical vision.
This is not a purely strategic role. You will spend 20-30% of your time hands-on: prototyping integration patterns, proving out architectural concepts, and gluing the paved path together so that teams can move fast and safely. The remaining time is spent defining architecture, driving cross-team alignment, setting technical standards, and mentoring engineers across the organization.
