Job Description: AI Engineer About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy advanced artificial intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate has strong foundations in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and software engineering. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, product managers, and engineers) to build AI systems that drive real-world business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Model Development & Deployment Design, train, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models for production use. Deploy AI models into scalable systems using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face. Data Engineering & Pipelines Work with large structured and unstructured datasets. Build data preprocessing, feature engineering, and ETL pipelines.
AI System Integration Collaborate with backend teams to integrate AI models into applications and APIs. Ensure models are efficient, robust, and optimized for real-time or batch inference. Research & Innovation Stay up to date with the latest AI/ML techniques and bring innovative solutions into production. Experiment with LLMs, RAG, reinforcement learning, generative AI, and other emerging methods.
Monitoring & Maintenance Establish monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track AI system performance. Troubleshoot, retrain, and improve models based on feedback and new data.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field (PhD is a plus). Strong programming skills in Python (knowledge of Java, C++, or Go is a plus). Hands-on experience with machine learning/deep learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with data processing tools (SQL, Spark, Pandas). Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design. Knowledge of MLOps practices (CI/CD, model monitoring, versioning) is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience with LLMs, transformers, and generative AI applications. Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, pgvector). Experience with API development using FastAPI, Flask, or Django. Background in mathematics, statistics, or optimization techniques. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
