The Acute Nurse Manager is responsible for 24/7 oversight of inpatient unit operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. The role emphasizes leadership in quality and regulatory compliance, staff supervision and accountability, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support patient throughput and outcomes.

Additionally, the Nurse Manager is accountable for staffing based on acuity, budget and resource management, and driving performance improvement through data, education, and evidence-based practice and maintains continuous survey readiness.
