Organ Recovery Coordinator

The Organ Recovery Coordinator role is responsible for recovering organs for transplant, including but not limited to potential donor referrals, donor evaluation, authorization process, and comprehensive donor management. Activities include, but are not limited to, being knowledgeable of individual hospital policies related to the donation of all anatomical gifts; able to identify key personnel who are capable of improving and maintain a hospital’s level of participation in facilitating potential organ and tissue donors; and performing activities related to the initial and surgical recovery elements of the donation process.
