We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst with deep expertise in Temenos T24 to operate at the intersection of financial product design, accounting, data analysis, and technology delivery within a regulated financial services environment. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑oriented role requiring an analyst who can move fluidly between banking product concepts, accounting treatment, and system configuration, translating complex business requirements into well‑designed and configurable T24 Arrangement Architecture (AA) solutions.
You will support initiatives across everyday banking, deposits, and lending products—core systems that members rely on daily. This role suits a structured, pragmatic self‑starter comfortable with accountability in complex environments. What You’ll Be Responsible For Financial Product & Core Banking Analysis Lead analysis and design of financial products in T24, focusing on: Demand / everyday banking products (chequing, savings) Term deposits Lending products (loans, lines of credit, mortgages) Translate product and business needs into clear, testable functional and non‑functional requirements aligned to T24 capabilities.
Design product features including: Interest calculation methods and accruals Charge plans and service fee structures Product lifecycle events and behavioral rules Ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned to business, regulatory, and accounting objectives. Temenos T24 & Arrangement Architecture (AA) Configure and support T24 AA products: Properties, conditions, rules Interest, fee, and accounting linkage configuration Design and configure: Demand account products Term deposit products (maturity, renewal, rate structures) Lending products with understanding of: Payment rules and schedules Delinquency handling Aging, arrears, collections logic Bonus: Understanding of syndicated lending concepts.
Accounting & Financial Controls Apply strong knowledge of core banking accounting standards and practices. Design, validate, and troubleshoot accounting entries generated by T24: Interest income Interest expense Accruals and reversals Support reconciliation and balancing activities: Root cause analysis Collaboration with Finance and Operations Ensure designs support auditability, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
Business & Technical Analysis Lead business requirements analysis from intake through delivery. Assess technical impacts, dependencies, risks, and downstream effects. Document solutions using UML and structured analysis techniques: Process flows Sequence diagrams Data models Leverage understanding of object‑oriented programming to interpret system behavior and validate solutions.
Data Analysis & Integration Awareness Perform complex data analysis using SQL to: Support requirements Investigate issues Validate postings and reconciliations Understand integrations and data flows between T24 and upstream/downstream systems. Contribute to integration/interface documentation. Backlog & Delivery Management Create and maintain a structured backlog in Azure DevOps: Epics Features User stories Acceptance criteria Collaborate with delivery teams to refine, prioritize, and prepare work.
Manage dependencies, risks, and release impacts. Testing & Change Support Author and support: Test strategies Detailed test plans Support SIT, UAT, defect triage, and resolution. Support change management: Impact assessments Stakeholder communications Readiness planning Assist with incident analysis and troubleshooting.
Cross‑Functional Communication & Stakeholder Management Act as liaison across: Business stakeholders Finance and Operations Technology, Architecture, Integration teams External vendors Manage requirements and expectations across initiatives. Communicate complex product, accounting, and technical concepts clearly. Escalate issues thoughtfully and collaboratively.
What We’re Looking For Experience & Skills Minimum 5+ years as a Business, Systems, or Technical Analyst. Strong hands‑on experience with Temenos T24 and Arrangement Architecture (AA). Proven experience designing/configuring: Demand / everyday banking products Term deposits Lending products Strong understanding of: Interest accruals Interest income/expense Accounting postings & reconciliation Strong SQL skills and comfort working with data.
Technical background sufficient to understand system behavior. Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps. Ways of Working Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to code‑switch between technical and business audiences. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and accountable. Practical, level‑headed problem solver with strong judgment.
